In 1917, young Frances Griffiths, whose father is missing in action, arrives by train to stay with her cousin Elsie Wright in rural Yorkshire. Together, they took the photos that divided a nation, and gripped the imagination of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: the first photographic evidence of the existence of fairies.
