In 1915, the new Pyramid Films took over the Captain Kettle Film Company studios in Towers Hall, and produced a selection of feature films, newsreels and round-ups of local issues. Their most notable work was a feature-length romance entitled My Yorkshire Lass. Like their predecessor, Pyramid films were forced to close by the pressures of war, and the Towers Hall Film Studios closed down in 1916.
