In 1897, shortly after the release of their Kineoptoscope projector, the Riley Brothers introduced the Kineoptoscope camera, again based on the designs of their fellow Bradfordian Cecil Wray. This spurred them to begin producing their own films, with titles such as The Three Macs and The Nursemaid’s Surprise.
