Bradford’s Temperance Hall, built in 1937, had shown experimental films on a temporary screen from 1900, but opened as a permanent cinema in September 1909. Over the years, the site has hosted both film screenings and theatre productions. Now the Bradford Playhouse, it continues to entertain the people of Bradford to this day.
