When 11-year old Leah moves from a white suburb in Leeds to an Asian area of Bradford, she is forced to adapt to life as an ethnic minority. Initially reluctant to join in with the activities of the Muslim majority, she shocks her mother when she converts to Islam and begins wearing a hijab.
